A message from Andrew Barclay – COVID-19

To all Wyma customers, suppliers and stakeholders,

I wanted to contact you today regarding Wyma Solutions’ response to the COVID-19 situation. Firstly, let me reassure you that no Wyma employees or their families have been directly impacted by the virus and for that we are very thankful. However, it is clear that this is a rapidly evolving situation and I would, therefore, like to take this opportunity to outline Wyma’s response, and how we will continue to support both our customers and suppliers.

We do not foresee any significant disruption to manufacturing or operations. Our supply chain is robust, and we hold sufficient material at our manufacturing facilities to continue production of the high-quality post-harvest equipment and solutions we are known for. Our Design and Project Teams can work remotely if required, and our IT systems have been designed and tested to support this.

Sales and Service staff in some jurisdictions are facing travel disruptions; however, for the most part, our teams are able to continue to work and support our customers as usual. In areas where travel restrictions are having an impact, we are available remotely to provide support and we encourage customers to contact us as needed. We are communicating closely with any customers directly impacted in the middle of project installs or service jobs, and developing suitable workarounds.

Our Spare Parts teams also remain available and our distribution network at this stage is very much active and coping well with the challenges to international transport networks. However, I do recommend that customers review their holdings of spare parts and take the opportunity to order any critical spares to ensure that their operations are not negatively impacted.

I wish to thank all impacted customers for their support and flexibility at this time.

I would also like to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of all Wyma employees. I am particularly proud of the calm and composed manner in which they are facing this unprecedented global event. They continue to find new ways to support our customers and ensure that their vital work is not compromised.

As this situation develops, we will continue to revise and adjust our response in line with the relevant local and regional authorities. If you have any questions regarding Wyma’s COVID-19 response or if there is any other way we can help your operations, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Best regards,

Andrew Barclay
Managing Director
