Suitable for bins or boxes made from wood, plastic or cardboard, weighing up to 2 metric tons (4000 lb). Models are available that allow bin or box widths from 900 mm (3 ft) to dual 2450 mm (8 ft) wide.
All tippers are suitable for multiple bin or box heights, with a simple adjusting restrainer bar. Produce can be tipped to any receiving system, but the most typical is a Wet Hopper or Creep Feed Hopper or conveyor capable of holding the entire contents of the bin or box.
The choice of receiving system should suit the produce type. It is a very efficient process, a bin or box can be loaded, tipped and removed in one forklift movement in just a few seconds.
The Manual Bin Box Tipper is an open top tipper. Product will start exiting the bins or boxes part way through the tipping process. Bins and boxes are placed in the cradle by forklift. The forklift forks are then placed underneath the tipping bar. As the forks lift, the tipping bar rolls on the forks and the bin cradle rotates to the full-tip position. The forklift remains in place while produce is tipped out of the bin or box. When all produce is tipped, the forklift operator can lower the tipper to its loading position and then extract the bin or box.
The tipper requires no electrical connection or safety fencing, reducing cost considerably when compared to electrically driven systems
