John Roest is the Australasian Sales Manager at Wyma Solutions. He is responsible for building relationships with customers, delivering the right solution and making sure Wyma’s equipment helps the customer deliver the best produce to their customers.
John started with Wyma in 2007, he was eager to join a growing company with a strong product and vision. Prior to this, he was involved in the vegetable industry for 30 years. He held a variety of roles from manufacturing, pneumatics, electrical control and sales (machinery & packaging). This diversity lead to the opportunity to broaden the customer base.
The skills he gained from previous roles allowed him to move into this sales role, where his strong customer focus and ability to problem solve has earned him great respect within the industry.
John thoroughly enjoys the interaction with both existing and prospective customers. He consistently puts the customer at the centre of his decision making to ensure that they get the best possible result for their business.
