Ernie Panks

Ernie Panks is the Technical Sales Manager for England and Ireland. This role sees him consulting with customers and selling the full range of Wyma products and services as well as managing the dealers in some of his territories.

Before starting at Wyma in 2012, Ernie held various roles relevant to the industry; design engineer, design team leader, and a technical manager role. This is on top of experience in the food industry designing and developing handling and filling machinery. Ernie has worked in a lot of European countries, along with the Middle East, the Americas and Australasia. Each of these previous roles and job locations has given him the expertise to succeed in his role as a Territory Manager.

Ernie knew of Wyma before joining the team as he had been working for a dealer of our equipment. Moving to Wyma was the natural progression. He was also interested in working for company which deals in the handling of root vegetables as there is a large opportunity for innovation.

Working with customers to find creative solutions to suit their requirements is something that Ernie is very passionate about. He has worked hard to overcome the mindset of our customers thinking we only do Vege-Polishers. It is through Ernie’s hard work and dedication that he is able to encourage customers that they should be innovating their sites rather than sticking to the status quo.
