Overhead Rotating Arm Pallet Wrapper

Description

The overhead rotating arm wrapping machine consists of an overhead arm dispensing a plastic or net film while rotating around the pallet from bottom to top. Because the pallet is stationary when being wrapped (as opposed to turning as with the turntable wrapping machine); this wrapping system is highly recommended for a very light or heavy pallet loads.

In a Symach palletising system, the overhead wrapping machine is placed along the out-feed conveyor. Once the pallet exits the stacking cage, it travels along the roller conveyor system and comes to a halt where the overhead wrapping system is located. The rotary arm then wraps a net or plastic film around the pallet to secure it and protect its load during storage and transport. 

The system can be semi-automatic and hence would require human intervention to start the machine and attach the film to the pallet and cut it at the end of the wrapping cycle. The automatic system handles the entire wrapping cycle without any need for labour.
