Absorbent Drying Rollers

Description

The Wyma Absorbent Drying Rollers remove the excess moisture from your produce. The main objective of this equipment is to reduce the risk of bacterial growth, disease initiation and produce degradation during storage, transport and packaging, and maximise shelf life.

An Absorbent Drying Rollers module is mainly composed of rows of latex sponge or synthetic felt, with a small number of brush rows at the in-feed end and a row of pintle rollers at the out-feed end. Modules of 10 and 15 rows are offered. Their modular built means that multiple modules can be added to meet the required amount of drying. The number of brush, sponge (or felt) and pintle rows can also be customised. The mix depends on your produce wetness, the required amount of drying and operating conditions.

Galvanised steel rollers squeeze the absorbent rollers to release the retained water in order to optimise drying performance.
